I’m Kate, family organizer, homeschool headmistress, and one of your Vivid Travelers writers.  On this journey, I want to explore and experience the unique landscapes, food, and arts of the world! 

As a trained geologist, I enjoy hiking beautiful terrain. As a fiction aficionado, I can also be found reading and watching my beloved sci-fi, fantasy, or historical fiction. Trading quotations and song lyrics from Broadway or Disney will make us forever friends! 

Keeping it real, I’m the family caregiver and details person, but I also tend to over-think the travel plans. I would much rather navigate than drive thank-you-very-much, and if I’m grumpy I probably need a snack. Let’s share a glass of wine sometime and trade stories!
