Pete Barba
Hi! I’m Pete, the “Dad”. This trip for me is an opportunity to reconnect with my family and passions. As a physician, the past two years of COVID have been all consuming, forcing me to work way too much and distracting my brain even when I’m at home. I want to get back to focusing on Kate and being a great father to Gwyn and Drew.
I’m also what many would consider a renaissance man, I love photography, cooking, engineering, nature, theater and travel. I’m always game for trying and learning new things. In the next year, we will explore all those passions together through stories and photographs.
My nicknames include “Captain Chaos” and “The Disruptor”. No doubt this will drive Kate crazy at times and lead to some interesting stories over the next year.
