You never would know it, because she does her editing so well, that Kate spends hours each week on our posts. She magically edits my writing, so that my “crazy Pete” thoughts become coherent, she sorts, through thousands of photos and edits the best ones to tell our story, and then finally she puts it all together into a post that (hopefully) pulls you into our story. This week, she gets a week off, she’s more than earned it.

Happy Mothers Day to Kate! For the past 3 1/2 years she has been a homeschool teacher, something we never planned on, but were forced to do because of COVID and school issues. She has taught the kids everything from Spanish to history, math to art and everything in between. She coordinated all the curriculums, planned for education during this year away, and has continued to teach the kids as we travel on airplanes, trains and even sailboats. But it doesn’t end there, from laundry to trip planning to keeping our budget up to date, Kate is a master of getting the necessary but not glamorous tasks done. She’s an awesome Mom!

Happy Mothers Day to all the women in our lives. We celebrate you! From our own Moms who raised us right and continue to support us with their love, to our perfect sisters who we greatly admire for their patience and caring, and female friends and family members who continue to give us wisdom, guidance and friendship, you all more than deserve this day of thanks for all that you do. Without you, our lives would be empty and void of love. We love you all!
